(QBO) - Phía tây huyện Lệ Thủy (Quảng Bình), ở thượng nguồn sông Kiến Giang có vực nước sâu, bốn mùa trong xanh được biết đến với tên gọi là vực Anh Sinh, dân địa phương thường gọi là Trôốc Vực, hay còn gọi là vực Cây Sanh.

Vực An Sinh nằm giữa một vùng núi non trùng điệp. Phía tây là dãy núi Mã Yên, sách Ô châu cận lục của Dương Văn An viết: "Thế núi cao, dáng hình uốn lượn, chỗ đứt đoạn, chỗ liên tục, chỗ đổ xuống chỗ ngóc lên, trông như hình cái yên ngựa. Hai bên tả hữu có các núi vây quanh, có chỗ như ký mã thong dong, có chỗ như tuấn mã hăm hở. Tinh thần phong phú, khí vượng dồi dào...". Từ  vực  xuôi về phía đông, dòng Kiến Giang uốn lượn  tưới mát cho những cánh đồng hai vụ lúa.
