(HBĐT) - Trong những ngày cuối tháng 7, chúng tôi có dịp trở lại thăm di chỉ khảo cổ hang Tằm, tại xã Lâm Sơn (huyện Lương Sơn - Hoà Bình). Hang nằm ở quả núi đôi có 2 ngọn song song, đứng độc lập, gần sát cửa hang có dòng suối chảy qua. Hang Tằm là nơi cư trú của cư dân thời đại đồ đá thuộc văn hóa Hòa Bình.

Cùng công chức văn hóa xã Lâm Sơn chúng tôi đến hang Tằm. Nhìn bên ngoài hang Tằm như một hàm ếch khổng lồ. Cửa hang mở ra trên một vách đá thẳng đứng, loang những vết trắng của đá vôi và có nhiều tảng đá lớn chặn lối. Trần hang cao dần từ trong ra ngoài, nền hang tương đối bằng phẳng, từ cửa hang đã thấy rất nhiều vỏ ốc vặn được xếp tầng, những hóa thạch trên đá, công cụ đá Hòa Bình và các vết tích in hằn trên vách đá, vòm hang.
