(VNE) - Cầu Móng Sến có trụ cao nhất Việt Nam chuẩn bị thông xe vào cuối năm nay, sau gần hai năm xây dựng.

Cầu Móng Sến nằm trong dự án xây dựng tuyến đường mới kết nối với cao tốc Nội Bài - Lào Cai, thay cho quốc lộ 4D hiện có. Cầu bắc qua hai ngọn đồi, phía dưới là thủy điện và ruộng bậc thang ở thị xã Sa Pa.

Công trình khởi công ngày 3/1/2021, hợp long ngày 29/9/2021. Dự kiến toàn tuyến đường mới sẽ thông xe vào cuối năm nay. Lãnh đạo UBND thị xã Sa Pa đánh giá tuyến đường này không chỉ rút ngắn quãng đường từ Nội Bài lên Lào Cai, đảm bảo an toàn cho người dân mà còn là điểm nhấn du lịch mới cho du khách đến với Sa Pa.
