Trải qua bao biến thiên, thăng trầm, nơi đây vẫn còn lưu lại những nét cổ xưa của một vùng đất nằm trong di chỉ khảo cổ Cồn Điệp Quỳnh Văn. Đó là cây thị di tích hàng trăm năm tuổi; những đền đài, miếu mạo; những giếng cổ và tích ổi làng Tràm gắn với vị tướng dòng họ Đặng nổi tiếng.
