Với mặt hồ rộng lớn, cảnh vật đa dạng, thật không quá khi nhiều người ví von hồ Sông Sắt như một Biển Hồ ở Ninh Thuận. Đây cũng là điểm dã ngoại, vui chơi cuối tuần được yêu thích của du khách vào mỗi dịp cuối tuần.
